We're Here!

We got to Missoula last Wed. afternoon and have been steadily unpacking. The house is a lot smaller than our old one, so we are unpacking and then repacking some things. So far all the people we have met have been really nice and helpful. I think we will like it here. It has snowed off and on for a few days and it has been really cold. The kids asked over and over again in TX whne we would get snow and now that we have it they want to know when it is going to stop. There are a lot of things that we don;t have here that we do miss lots though. Like CiCi's, Joe's (pizza and coffee shop), Chik fil A, good Mexican food and Sprouts just to name a few. So, if anybody wants to move up here and open one of those up you would atleast have 6 happy customers (hey, it's a start!). Well, gonna go let the kids update their blog.

all packed and ready to go

We are now all packed up and ready to go. The caravan is as follows - 2 in the big Budget truck, 1 plus 2 kids in the Expedition and 2 plus 2 kids in the Avalanche with trailer. Our whole lives are packed in the Budget and the trailer it's amazing that it all fit. We had a great group of guys from church help us load up and we are thankful to them all. We head out tomorrow afternoon after lunch. We will try to update the trip every night when we get to hotels here and on facebook.

Last week

Well, we are down to our last week in Texas. It will be a sad week. We are going to finally have to start packing boxes today, not sure where to start yet. We did have a good get together at church with friends and family. It was really nice to get to see everybody and spend some time together. We will miss everybody tons. They are all our family. Next Sunday will be our last Sunday at church, it will be really hard to say goodbye. The journey that we begin that day will be tough. I hope all goes well though. Well, gotta go start that first box.
